As the 2025/26 Championship season draws to a close, Coral shares its odds for promotion to the Premier League, with Ipswich backed for automatic promotion.

Coventry's imperious start to the campaign saw them emerge as the clear favourites to get promoted, with Frank Lampard's side still sitting pretty at the top as firm title favourites - and it's Ipswich who are priced as favourites to join them in the top flight.

High-flyers Middlesbrough and Premier League hopefuls Millwall are also in the conversation, with the league proving incredibly tight from third downwards.

Coventry City have been removed from the Championship promotion markets, with their place in next season's Premier League looking overwhelmingly secure, and it's Ipswich who the bookies are backing to join them in the automatic promotion spots.

Kieran McKenna's side have bounced back from a disappointing start to the campaign, and are now priced as favourites to join Frank Lampard's Coventry in the Championship's top two places come the end of the season.

Middlesbrough and Millwall are also tipped to give Ipswich a run for their money in the final stretch of the season, with both sides clinging on to hopes of securing promotion to the Premier League - which would be a first for Millwall.

Southampton's resurgence - marked with an FA Cup victory over Arsenal - has also seen them soar up the betting markets, with the Saints' form seeing them emerge as the most serious competitor - although they would likely have to do it via the play-offs.

Wrexham remain firmly in the play-off picture with just a handful of games left to play, with a fairytale promotion looking more and more possible as the weeks roll on. A fourth consecutive promotion would beat their own record of three on the bounce, and would be a story befitting of Hollywood.

Elsewhere, Hull are given a decent chance of promotion by the bookies, despite a stuttering 2026 so far, while Derby continue to quietly hover around the top six.

Norwich's incredible upturn in form has seen their priorities shift from survival to promotion in a matter of months, with Philippe Clement working wonders at Carrow Road, while Watford, Bristol City and QPR remain hopeful of a late push for the play-offs.
