There’s Christmas Day action from the NFL this evening as the Houston Texans host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers will be looking to get back to winning ways after last weekend’s controversial 24-27 defeat to the New England Patriots.
Against the Texans, who are 4-10, they should be able to record their fifth road victory of the season.
However, they’ll have to do so without star wide receiver Antonio Brown. The 29-year-old suffered an injury against the Pats and will be missing from the action.
That means the onus will fall on Le’Veon Bell and JuJu Smith-Schuster to score the points for the Steelers. With Brown out of action, the Coral News Team think Bell will step up to the plate in a big way. He leads the league in rushing yards in the NFL and can take advantage of a Texans defence which has given up 1,497 rushing yards this season.
The Steelers have won all bar one of their games on the road so far this season. But they’ve mostly been close affairs. In those matches, they’ve scored an average of 21 points per game. They’re yet to score more than 26 points away from Heinz Field this season.
Pittsburgh have won three of their last four matches by a margin of three points or fewer. Over the course of the season that extends to seven matches won by a margin of six points or less. When the Steelers win, it tends to be tight.
