Reigning world champion Stuart Bingham came from three frames down to beat Joe Perry 6-5 in his World Grand Prix Snooker semi-final clash, and he is now 11/8 as Coral’s bet of the day to lift the crown at the expense of Shaun Murphy.

In Llandudno, Wales, Bingham has produced both majestic and gallant displays to reach the final, having fought back to topple the Gentleman and also dispatched baize star Judd Trump to set up a repeat of his victorious Crucible final last year against the Magician.
Having earned an 18-15 triumph over Murphy in that World Championship final meeting, Bingham will hold no fear going into another silverware deciding match-up against his rival, as he sits on the verge of another trophy to add to his growing collection.
After going behind to Perry in his semi-final encounter, Bingham rallied back to win the final two frames without conceding a single point to secure a final position.
“It wasn’t going to plan and I just had to be patient,” stated the 39-year-old. “I nicked that frame to go 3-1 – it was massive – I came in at the interval, had a chat with my manager and I went out there a bit different, a bit more determined.”

The Essex potter revealed that he wasn’t feeling the best in the build-up to his previous outing on Welsh soil, but is ready to do battle now.
“I’m feeling better, still sweating up a little bit but I’ve been up since about four o’clock this morning. Hopefully I can have a good night’s sleep and be ready for the final.”
In a race to 10 frames, this Sunday snooker final should be an entertaining match-up but, with that illustrious Crucible coup still fresh in the mind, Bingham is 11/8 to overcome Murphy and take home the World Grand Prix crown!
