Hugo Palmer

Hugo Palmer has been a licenced trainer since 2011, and he trained his first Classic winner in 2015 when Covert Love was victorious in the Irish Oaks – and that was the same year he won £1 million in prize money for the first time.  The following year Hugo sent out Galileo Gold to win the 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes.

In March 2022, Hugo moved from Newmarket to Manor House Stables, the state of the art training centre in Cheshire owned and founded by former England footballer, Michael Owen, of which Coral has been the official sponsor since 2023.
