Anthony Joshua 1/7 for Sports Personality of the Year
Boxer is hot favourite

Anthony Joshua is one of the shortest-priced favourites ever to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
The boxer is the 1/7 favourite to walk away with the gong, ahead of Lewis Hamilton at 7/1 and Mo Farah at 33/1.
Bets are also being taken on what percentage of the vote Joshua will win on Sunday night.
It’s currently 6/4 that he takes 30% – 40% of the vote and 8/1 that he gets over 50% – a feat not achieved since Andy Murray’s win in 2013.
Punters looking for other selections can bet on the winner without the heavyweight boxer. Hamilton is the 4/11 favourite for that market, ahead of Jonathan Rea at 6/1 and Harry Kane at 7/1.
Meanwhile, for a top-three finish, Farah can be backed at 7/2 and Chris Froome at 5/1.
“It would be a major shock if Joshua wasn’t crowned Sports Personality of the Year this weekend. He’s been odds-on for the award ever since he beat Vladimir Klitschko back in April in what was arguably the most memorable sporting event of the year,” said Harry Aitkenhead.
