A competitive field which sees Consent attempt to become only the second filly this century to win this race twice. Last year's victory was gained on testing ground, however, and she can be passed over unless there's a deluge. Sunly will rightly be popular following solid efforts in Group 1 events on her last two starts. Things didn't go her way in the Vermeille last time but she's bred to stay this trip and should be thereabouts. Waardah turned in a career-best effort to win the Park Hill in a first-time hood and she has claims but it could be worth chancing EARTH SHOT who looked good in the Ribblesdale prior to disappointing in the Irish Oaks. She fared better in the Yorkshire Oaks behind Arc fancy Kalpana last time and this extra yardage could suit. Fairy Glen looks best of the remainder. [Richard Young]
