Verdict

The market will be decisive, with six of the nine making their debuts. Blue Bresil gelding HARTFORD is appealing on paper and is given the token preference with the Gordon Elliott team in such good form. Quiryn is an obvious danger given connections. The Emmet Mullins pair of The Rock Factor, and Justify filly Jerpoint Abbey are interesting. Previous academy hurdle debutants Coole Cafe and Apache Peak are also in the mix, with the former a surprise winner at Navan. [Denis Harney]
