The Middle Park 1-2-3 Wise Approach (second choice), Brussels and Coppull lock horns again and it could be that the Godolphin runner confirms his superiority despite having to concede weight all round. While they have been plying their trade in Group 1 company, it is a runner who comes here on the back of an AW handicap success who is arguably the most interesting contender. GHOST MODE did a lot wrong at Southwell seven weeks ago but he still won in a manner rarely seen in competitive sprint handicaps and the market support for him suggested it wasn't a surprise. He will need to keep straighter today but he looked a Group horse in waiting at Southwell and the fact his trainer is prepared to risk a most-appealing handicap mark to come here looks significant.[Paul Smith]
