A cracking renewal and one in which last year's Royal-Oak winner Arrow Eagle will no doubt be popular following an encouraging reappearance over an inadequate trip in the Ganay. The return to this trip on this ground will suit but narrow preference is for CONSENT. Sir Mark Prescott's filly turned in her best effort when comprehensively reversing Doncaster placings with Santorini Star in the Group 1 Royallieu on testing ground at this track on Arc weekend and she'll likely have no problem with the longer trip. It should be close between Asmarani and Double Major but a bigger threat could be Cadran winner Caballo De Mar, who has run well on both starts this season and should be suited by the return to this sort of ground. Al Riffa is better than he showed at Meydan but a combination of this trip on testing ground is a bit of a worry. [Richard Young]
