The tenacious Ten Carat Harry looks set to go well despite his big weight, while Silent Strike is sure to be popular for the trainer/jockey combination that has won this race (in various guises) for the last three years. Northern Empire (second choice) is interesting dropped to 6f for his handicap debut but AL NAJASHI (nap) can take this rise in class in his stride. While he is in much deeper today, he has been toying with his opposition and the drop back in trip shouldn't be an issue at this stiff track. The selection's stablemate Eternal Solace looks a lively outsider too.[Paul Smith]
