Verdict

With just one win from 23 starts MAIDENSTREETPRINCE is expensive to follow but he ran well in a fairly valuable handicap chase in Killarney in June, and could have more to offer back over hurdles with soft ground to suit. Conditions are also in favour of Eternal Echo, who can go well on stable debut after being bought for 7,500GBP in October out of the Gordon Elliott yard. The opposite is true of the back-to-back runner-up Hobart who seems to prefer better ground. [Denis Harney]
