Dual course winner Starzand was recently declared for the 2m4f Grade 1 Challow (withdrawn with good ground deemed unsuitable) and is evidently held in some regard. He is not opposed with any confidence but this drop back in trip is probably not ideal and he may find it tough to concede 7lb to BOSSMAN JACK, who made a very promising seasonal/hurdle debut when placed in a good Warwick maiden in November. History-maker Blowers can fare best of the others.[Chris Wilson]
