One of the very few countries in which the flat and harness disciplines can cross over, Christophe Soumillon gets the drive on KANNABIS JELOCA (3) who has not put a foot out of line since last August. Given a brief rest after storming up at Saint-Galmier, it is hard to envisage him being bested. KRONOS D'ERPION (4) raced better at Amiens than the result would imply and looks the principal danger. JAWAX DE KERYANN (10) is forced to incur the penalty but has already imposed twice this year and is easy to like for a step on the podium. JAVANAIS (6) has been acquitting himself well of late and the front-row start will do his prospects no disservice.
