THE PRECURSOR (17) Picked up nicely to win last run at Trentham but up against a more competitive field. The wide draw shouldn't be a problem with plenty of early speed. Should be competitive in this race at a bit of odds. KIWI SKYHAWK (15) Looked good when 2nd last time around here. A win wouldn't surprise. JUST CHARLIE (12) Was quite a handful for the competition when 3rd last time at Waipukurau but racing in stronger company. Should be rolling forward early from the wide draw. Respect. SANTA CATALINA (10) Came in 7th last time at Trentham but suited at this distance in the past. Drawn nicely. Back to a shorter distance. No shock to see a win.
