Willie Mullins has dominated the Triumph in recent years, in terms of quality and quantity, and could easily do so again, although picking his best hope is far from easy. Proactif is 2-2 and probably a far more straightforward ride than the filly Selma De Vary, but the latter nevertheless has plenty of experience compared to most of these and the big run she delivered on her first appearance for Mullins came in a Grade 1. Kai Lung, Mon Creuset and Macho Man also need plenty of respect among the stable's many runners. A tentative suggestion is that Selma De Vary may prove best of those, but Gordon Elliott's HIGHLAND CRYSTAL also takes high rank in form terms and received a healthy boost in that respect here on Tuesday.
