PHEONIX ran 4th last time around here. Has the potential to improve sharply and couldn't ask for a better start. Lee Newman has a high strike rate on board. Will give a big showing. California finished 5th last start at this venue. Expecting improvement but will be down in distance. S Ladjadj has multiple wins aboard but goes up in weight. Very competitive this season. This field suits. Social Distancing goes well when fresh. Sub-standard effort when 5th last run at this track but have to respect the form at this trip. Might have to make up considerable ground. Hard to knock and looks a nice each way proposition.
