No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. PRIVATE TREATY (6) Ran 7th last start at Riccarton Park. Overlooking the last run. Interesting gear change of blinkers on first time. Has plenty of early speed. Good prospects. SOUL DESTROYER (1) Lost ground late when 4th last run at Riccarton Park on a heavy surface. Has early speed and positions nicely. Worth a ticket. GOLDEN LINING (5) Finished amongst the placegetters when 2nd last run at Otaki and getting better in recent performances. Coming to a new trainer. Has good closing speed. Could go well at this level.
