Murray now 7-4 for Wimbledon glory after Verdasco thriller

Andy Murray remains the second favourite, at 7-4 with Coral, to win Wimbledon, following his thrilling five set victory over Fernando Verdasco in their quarter-final match today. Novak Djokovic is the 4-6 favourite, with Juan Martin Del Potro 14-1 and Murray’s semi-final opponent Jerzy Janowicz the 18-1 outsider.

“Andy Murray gave his backers a scare when he trailed by two sets, but his fightback gave them hope that he can go all the way, and the betting suggests a final showdown against world number one Novak Djokovic is on the cards,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
