Edna Krabappel favourite to be killed off The Simpsons
Published:Coral bookmaker has installed Edna Krabappel as the 5-1 favourite to be killed off The Simpsons in the 25th series, after it was revealed that the cartoon will bid farewell to a major character. The future of Sideshow Bob also looks uncertain and Coral go 6-1 that Krusty the Clown’s sidekick bites the dust, whilst Comic Book Guy is 7-1 to get the chop.
Other characters tipped to get axed include Barney Gumble and Police Chief Wiggum at 8-1 and 16-1 respectively, while it’s unlikely that Homer or Marge are killed off at 100-1.
“Punters are queuing up to bet on which Simpsons character dies in the latest series, and so far we have been inundated with bets on Bart’s long-suffering teacher Edna Krabappel being the latest victim”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
“It’s not often that a character from The Simpsons is killed off, so we expect to see plenty of speculation and floods of money on this market”, she added.
