Published:After an international football break, Tel’s back on the ball with this weekend’s Football jackpot predictions. Check out his 15 selections below and see if you can do better for a chance to win £1million in The Football Jackpot from Coral.
ASTON VILLA V NEWCASTLE
Villa have had the toughest of starts, facing Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, and can make home advantage pay against the Toon. HOME WIN
FULHAM v WEST BROM
Two sides already scrapped at the foot of the division and the Baggies are really struggling to find the form of last season. HOME WIN
HULL V CARDIFF
Battle of the promoted teams and while there are plenty of new faces, they know each other well after Championship skirmishes in the previous three years. DRAW
STOKE V MAN CITY
Hard to back against Manuel Pellegrini’s expensively assembled line-up but with three straight wins, Mark Hughes’s Potters are good for a point. DRAW
SUNDERLAND V ARSENAL
It’s not going to plan for Paolo Di Canio yet and the Gunners have enough time to rest up after international duty to keep their good run going. AWAY WIN
TOTTENHAM V NORWICH
The world’s most expensive player is long gone to Madrid but there is no Gareth Bale hangover and Spurs can go all the way on this one. HOME WIN
BOLTON V LEEDS
Wanderers are bolted to the bottom of the league after a horrible start but they are surely too good to stay there. However, i don’t see a first win here. DRAW
IPSWICH V MIDDLESBROUGH
Two more Championship sides that would have hoped for a better opening month. Boro to make the long trip home from Suffolk to Teesside with a point. DRAW
PARTICK VS ABERDEEN
A point separates these two in the top half of the Scottish Premiership as they chase early pace-setters Inverness and i think it’ll be honours even. DRAW
ST JOHNSTONE V HIBERNIAN
Another tight clash north of the border and the hibees can hang on for a point in what promises to be a low-scoring game at McDiarmind Park DRAW
EVERTON V CHELSEA
Although undefeated, Roberto Martinez will view draws against Norwich, West Brom and Cardiff as a disappointing start. Now the Special One arrives and the real hard work starts. AWAY WIN#
ROSS CO V DUNDEE UTD
The Global Energy Stadium in Dingwall hosts this one and i’m picking Derek Adam’s Staggies to do the job on the Terrors. HOME WIN
READING V BRIGHTON
I’ll take the Royals to keep their push for an immediate return to the top flight on track with victory in this Sunday lunchtime kick-off. HOME WIN
SOUTHAMPTON v WEST HAM
They’re separted only on goal difference and both lost last time out in the league when they would have expected better. Saints to edge it. Just. HOME WIN
SWANSEA V LIVERPOOL
It’s a tricky call but with Brendan Rodgers returning to his old club, the Reds have enough to just about keep their perfect record intact. AWAY WIN
