Telebetting Rules

Introduction

Thank you for opening a telebet account with Coral.  It is our policy to provide all our customers with a fair and efficient service, which we hope, will enhance their enjoyment of sports betting.

Throughout these rules "Coral", "we", or "us" refers to Coral Racing Limited a subsidiary of Coral Eurobet Holdings Limited. It is a condition of holding a telebet account with Coral that customers agree to accept these rules. By registering, a customer is deemed to have fully accepted and understood these rules.

The following rules, which cancel all previous rules, are framed to meet the generally accepted rules of betting and govern all future transactions between us.  We suggest that for your own guidance you study them carefully.

When deciding whether to accept your registration or otherwise, we may supply the information you have given us to authorised credit reference agencies to confirm your identity and card details. They will check any details we disclose to them against any databases (public or private) to which they have access and will keep a record of that check. You agree that we may process, use, record and disclose personal information which you provide in connection with your registration and that such personal data may be recorded by us or them. For your protection, any telephone calls to our Call Centre may be recorded and monitored.

Coral reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions.

Our rules are a guide and reference to the terms by which we do business. Although our rules cover the vast majority of transactions there may be instances where an occurrence is not covered by our rules. In these rare instances we will seek to settle in an equitable and fair manner. However in the case that our settlement is disputed you may refer the matter to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS). Please refer to the Complaints and Disputes section for further details.

The placing of a bet with Coral, signifies your acceptance of our rules, whether or not you have familiarised yourself with them.

You must be 18 years or older to open and use an account.  Any customer may be credit checked on application in order to prove their legal age.  Coral reserve the right to request proof of age documentation from any client.  Accounts may be suspended pending clarification.

In the event of a bet being placed by a person under 18 the account will be suspended and no returns will be processed until age verification checks have proved the account holder to be 18 years or over.

We reserve the right to close your account without notice; if this is the case we will confirm your account closure in writing. Our decision will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Accounts must be opened by the card holder.

By opening an account, you also warrant to us that you are not already party to a current self-exclusion agreement with us. For details on how to reactivate an existing account following the completion of such a period of self-exclusion, please contact our Customer Care Team on 08457 581527.

The customer has the right to close an account at any time, providing the account does not show a balance is due to us. A customer should indicate their desire to close an account by telephone, or in writing.  In this case, the customer shall be sent the sum on deposit in their account. Should the customer have placed bets, the outcome of which is as yet unknown, and which subsequently win, the corresponding sums shall be sent later when the bet is completed.

In respect of Telephone Betting Accounts, any funds held in your account shall not entitle you to interest which we are entitled to retain. We do not hold Customer funds separately from our corporate funds and they are not subject to any specific trust arrangements.
