Coral current rules will apply to all circumstances not covered by the following rules.
Selections
The Coral Forecast Yankee is acceptable for any four races at any greyhound meeting, horse meeting or combination of both, not precluded by our Retail Betting Rules and the Coral Forecast Patent for any three such races. Each bet type must be separately staked.
The Coral Forecast Yankee consists of TWO selections in each of FOUR races to be staked for either straight forecasts (11 bets) or reversed forecasts (72 bets). The Coral Forecast Patent consists of TWO selections in each of THREE races to be staked for either straight forecasts (7 bets) or reversed forecasts (26 bets).
Incorrect Instructions
A forecast will be made void should it include:-
- an unnamed favourite
- a non-runner
- the same selection repeated
- selections for different races
Should a bet include:-
- a void forecast
- one or more races of less than five runners
- more than two selections in any one race
- a perm entry
then no bonus or consolation payments will be made.
Bonus/Consolation Payments - Coral Forecast Yankee
- Customers correctly selecting all four legs will receive a minimum bonus of 20% of the returns.
- Customers correctly selecting the forecasts in the first three legs and correctly placing the winner in the fourth leg with the second selection unplaced, will receive a consolation of 50% of the correct forecast treble already achieved.
- Customers correctly selecting the forecasts in the first three legs, one of whose selections for the fourth leg dead heats for first place with a runner other than that nominated to be second, will receive a consolation of 25% of the correct forecast treble already achieved.
Bonus/Consolation Payments - Coral Forecast Patent
- Customers correctly selecting all three legs will receive a minimum bonus of 10% of the returns.
- Customers correctly selecting the forecasts in the first two legs and correctly placing the winner in the third leg with the second selection unplaced, will receive 50% of the cumulative returns of the double for the first two legs. Customers correctly selecting the forecasts in the first two legs, one of whose selections for the third leg dead heats for the first place with a runner other than that nominated to be second, will receive a consolation of 25% of the correct forecast double already achieved.
