The maximum time permitted for acceptance of any bet submission from the time received by our server, is three minutes. If acceptance has not taken place within this time, in accordance with the above, the submission will automatically ‘time-out’ and the bet will not be placed.

We do not accept bets by telephone or e-mail. Coral staff cannot place bets on behalf of customers.

1) Horse Racing

a) Horse Racing bets are settled using the official result from the racecourse on the day (at the 'weighed in' signal). Any subsequent amendments or successful appeals will not be considered.

b) Ante post betting

An Ante Post bet is defined as one taken before 10.00am on the day that the final declaration to run is made.

Bets taken after 10.00am on the day that final declarations are made will be treated as early price bets, with non Rrunner no bet, and Rule 4 liable to apply.

An Ante Post bet on a horse that does not run will be settled as a loser. Exceptions to this are where a horse is balloted out of the race (Jockey Club Rule 125), or had no chance to win at the time the bet was struck (e.g. the horse was dead), or where we offer the special provision 'with a run'.

Ante post bets are accepted at the currently quoted price only.

Where a horse is balloted out of a race, bets on the remaining runners in the race are liable to a Rule 4 deduction.

It is not possible to bet at accumulative odds on the same horse to win two or more races. Special odds may be offered for a horse to win two or more races, and may be offered on request.

Where a race is postponed to another day and the final declarations stand, then bets on that race stand. If final declarations do not stand then all bets will be void.

If a race is abandoned, declared void, or if the conditions of the race are altered (e.g. the race is run at a different racecourse than was originally intended) then all bets on selections in that race are considered non runners.

c) Early price betting

An early price bet is defined as one where a price is taken, and is placed after 10.00am on the day that the final declaration to run is made and before the first show of board prices from the racecourse are displayed.

Early price bets are accepted on the basis of non runner no bet, and Rule 4 may apply.

d) Board price betting

A board price bet is one placed at the odds that we display immediately before a race as supplied from the racecourse where the race is run.

We reserve the right to adjust bets when there is an official correction made to a price that was displayed.

Board Price bets are accepted on the basis of non runner no bet, and Rule 4 may apply.

e) Starting price betting (S.P)

Starting price bets are those placed accepting the officially returned starting price made from the racecourse where the race is run.

All S.P bets, regardless of when they were placed, are accepted on the basis of non runner no bet.

Rule 4 will only apply to S.P bets where a horse is withdrawn prior to the start of a race, and a new course betting market is not formed prior to the 'off' (start of the race).

Any bet accepted on a horse where the customer does not indicate he wishes to take the currently available price will be settled at S.P.

f) Pari Mutuel betting

Pari Mutuel betting exists where there is not an on course betting market taken from course bookmakers to form betting shows and S.P's. countries like France operate this 'Totalisator' form of betting.

When we offer 'S.P.' betting from races where a Pari Mutuel system is in operation, we pay the win part equivalent to the Pari Mutuel win dividend, and the place part of an each way bet at the equivalent of the Pari Mutuel place dividend.

It is not possible to bet on Pari Mutuel prices other than the final declared dividend. Any prices displayed on the website prior to the start of the race that are based on the Pari Mutuel pools are displayed for information and guide purposes only.

g) U.S. Racing

Unless otherwise stated the following applies to settlement of bets taken on racing from the U.S.:

Races of 4 runners or less – All bets will be settled to a Tote dividend. All races will be win only.

Races of 7 runners or less – All bets will be settled to a Tote dividend. Races will be settled to only 2 places and the place part of any bet will be settled from the place pool.

Races of 8 runners or more – All bets will be settled to a Tote dividend. Races will be settled to at least 3 places and the place part of any bet will be settled from the show pool.

h) Match betting

Where we offer match bets between two horses in the same race both horses must come under starter's orders, or all bets are void.

If only one of the horses completes the course then that horse is the winner. If neither horse completes the course then bets are void.

It is not possible to combine a bet on a horse to win a race with a match bet involving the same horse.

All Match bets are settled on a first past the post basis.

i) Winning distance betting

When we offer betting on the total winning distances at a meeting bets are void if the card is not completed, except where the result of the Distance market for that meeting has already been decided.

The maximum distance for any Flat race is 12 lengths, and the maximum for a National Hunt race - including National Hunt Flat Races (or Bumpers) - is 30 lengths.

For winning distances less than 1 length the following scale is used to convert the official distance to a numerical value:

Short Head = 0.1
Head = 0.2
Neck = 0.3
Half Length = 0.5
A Distance = 30 lengths.

All winning distances are calculated on a first past the post basis.

j) Forecasts

Forecast bets are accepted only in races of three runners and more. Should a forecast bet be accepted in error, or if a race is reduced to only 2 runners then bets will stand as a single - at starting price - on the first named selection.

Where one horse finishes alone then bets will be settled as an S.P single. In all other cases where a Forecast dividend is not declared then bets will be void.

If a horse becomes a non runner then forecast bets involving that horse will be void.

In a combination forecast, where a selection becomes a non runner the total stake of the bet will be divided equally between the possible forecast combinations using the remaining selections.

k) Tricasts

Tricast bets are accepted only in races for which an official tricast return is declared.

Where one of the horses selected in a tricast becomes a non runner then the bet becomes a forecast on the remaining two selections. Where two of the selected horses become non runners then bets will be void.

Should a tricast bet be accepted by us in error where no tricast is declared, the bet reverts to a straight forecast on the first two named selections.

l) Doubly Engaged

All bets on horses on the website are accepted in the context of the race on the page from which the bet was placed. Therefore a bet on a doubly engaged horse will stand only if it runs in that race.

2) Football back to top

a) Normal time only counts

Unless otherwise specifically stated, all bets on football matches are for play in normal time (i.e. the score at the end of the second half). Extra time and/or penalties do not count.

Where a match has been completed, but the result is subsequently deemed void for whatever technical reason, all bets will be settled on the original result regardless of any later rearranged fixture."

b) Postponements or cancellations

Where a match is postponed or cancelled from the day for which it is was scheduled at the time the bet was struck, all bets on that game will be void, unless it is played before the end of the same calendar week (calendar week = Monday to Sunday).

c) Abandoned matches

If a match is abandoned before the end of the second half all bets on that game are void. The exception to this is on first player to score bets where, if a goal has been scored, the scorer of the first goal will be settled as a winner, and players who played some part before the first goal was scored will be settled as losers. Combo bets will be settled as a single on the first goal scorer. All bets on last goal scorer will be void.

d) First player to score

Players who do not play in the game, or who come on to the field after the first goal has been scored are considered non-runners and stakes are refunded.

For First Player to score bets own goals do not count. So, if the first goal in a game is an own goal then the player scoring the second goal will be settled as 'first' to score. If an own goal is the only goal of a game then 'no goalscorer' will be settled as the winner for that game.

e) Combo bets

A Combo bet is a forecast of the first or last player to score and the correct score in the same game. A special price - that will be different to the multiplied odds for the two outcomes - is supplied for Combo bets. These prices can be generated by using the drop down boxes on the website. One drop down contains the names of the players. The other drop down contains the different Correct Score options.

A combo bet containing a player who is considered a non-runner becomes a single on the chosen correct score, to the full stake of the Combo bet.

f) Last player to score

A player who plays any part in a game is deemed a participant for last scorer bets. Players who do not play any part in the game are considered non-runners.

For Last Player to score bets own goals do not count. So, if the last goal in a game is an own goal then the player scoring the previous goal will be settled as 'last' to score. If an own goal is the only goal of a game then 'no goalscorer' will be settled as the winner for that game.

g) To Keep a Clean Sheet

If a match commences but is subsequently abandoned before full time and no goals have been scored then all selections involved within the match will be deemed void. If one or more goals have been scored prior to abandonment, then the relevant players will be deemed losers.
If a Player is selected who does not play the full 90 minutes of the match then the selection will be deemed void. However, if a Player starts the match and is on the field when a goal is conceded by his team, the selection will be deemed a loser regardless of any subsequent substitutions.
If a Player concedes a goal (regardless of whether or not it is an own goal) he will be deemed a loser.

h) Adjudication of results (including first goal scorers)

Settlement of Football bets will be based on the results as determined by the Press Association’s initial decision, and any such other official bodies as Coral determine.

i) Match specials

For selected Football matches we offer a menu of special bets, each with three possible outcomes. For each, play in normal time only counts.

1.Total Goals

Betting on exactly, less than or more than a specified number of goals to be scored in the game. Singles and upwards are accepted on this market.

2. Bookings

Betting on three ranges of booking 'scores', based on a scoring system of 10 points for a yellow card and 25 points for a red card. The maximum number of points that can be allocated to one player is 35. (i.e a sending off comprising 2 yellow cards = 10 points + 25 points). Cards shown to active players during normal time only count. Singles and upwards are accepted on this market.

3. Corners

Betting on exactly, more than or less than a specified number of corners. Only corners actually taken count. Singles and upwards are accepted on this market.

4. Highest Scoring Half

Betting on which of the two halves will contain more goals (or the same number of goals). Singles and upwards are accepted on this market.

5. Time Of First Goal

Betting on when the first goal of the game will be scored, between 3 given periods of time. Singles only are accepted on this market.

6. First/Next Team To Score

Betting on which of the two teams will score the first or next (if in-running) goal, or that no goal will be scored. Singles only are accepted on this market. If the first/next goal is an own-goal it will be used for settlement purposes.

j) Football Pools

We do not accept Football Pools bets on the Coral.co.uk website.

For more information on Football Match Betting click here.

k) Betting In Running

For selected games we offer 1X2 prices during the match.

Customers should Refresh the betting screen to view the latest odds.

On occasions we will introduce a handicap to one of the teams.

A number of goals (the handicap) will be displayed in a bracket after the team who is being handicapped. This number of goals will be taken from the handicapped team at the end of the game.

Handicaps will always be a number of whole goals, so a draw on the handicap will always be presented as an option.

Example:

Manchester United (-1 goal) v Liverpool

A bet on Manchester United will be successful only if they win by 2 goals or more.

A bet on Liverpool will be successful if they win or draw the game.

A bet on the draw will be successful if Manchester United win by 1 goal.

l) Ante-post football

Head to Head match bets.

Head to head matches only take into account official championship days and do not include any play-offs. If two teams finish the official days of the championship with the same number of points, they shall be classified in terms of goal difference. The highest goal difference shall occupy the highest position. If the goal difference is the same then the team which has scored the most goals will be deemed the winner.

In the event teams can still not be separated dead-heat rules apply.

m) FANTASY EUR’04

The following details how each individual player scores points through the course of the tournament in accordance with the Fantasy Eur’04 game rules.
The only results used for the game are those initially reported by the key news agencies. If any decision is reversed from what was initially reported we will NOT amend the points already applied to players. In the event of two or more players scoring the same number of points dead-heat rules will apply.

Goal Scored Goal Conceded Clean Sheet
Keeper +7 points -2 points +4 points
Defender +5 points -1 point +2 points
Midfielder +4 points n/a n/a
Striker +3 points n/a n/a

Additional points for players

Played FULL 90 mins +2 points
Substituted (on or off) +1 point
Yellow Card -5 points
Red Card -10 points

Each player will receive points based on the performance of their country.

Win +3 points
Draw +1 point
Lose n/a

3) Greyhound Racing

a) Meetings covered

We accept bets only at those meetings, and on those races which we display on the website.

b) Forecasts
Forecast bets are accepted only in races of three runners and more. Should a forecast bet be accepted in error, or if a race is reduced to only 2 runners then bets will stand as a single - at starting price - on the first named selection.
If a greyhound becomes a non runner, regardless of whether a reserve runs in it’s place, then forecast bets involving that greyhound will be void.
In a combination forecast, where a selection becomes a non runner, regardless of whether a reserve runs in it’s place, the total stake of the bet will be divided equally between the possible forecast combinations using the remaining selections.

c) Tricasts
Tricast bets are accepted only in races for which an official tricast return is declared.
Where one of the greyhounds selected in a tricast becomes a non runner, regardless of whether a reserve runs in it’s place, then the bet becomes a forecast on the remaining two selections. Where two of the selected greyhounds become non runners, regardless of whether reserves run in their places, then bets will be void.
Should a tricast bet be accepted by us in error where no tricast is declared, the bet reverts to a straight forecast on the first two named selections.

d) Bets on greyhound names

All bets placed on the website on greyhound races are on the name of the greyhound, not on a trap number. Therefore, any bets on a greyhound who becomes a non runner are void, even if the greyhound is replaced by a reserve running from the same trap number. Bets will stand on a greyhound who runs from a different trap number than was listed at the time the bet was struck.

e) Greyhound competitions

When prices are offered to win a competition, bets accepted before the draw for the penultimate round (semi-final) has been made will be on an 'all in run or not' basis, and non runners will be treated as losers.

Bets placed at prices issued after the draw for the semi-final, but prior to the draw for the final will not be subject to our usual Ante Post rules, and any non runner will be settled as void. A deduction equivalent to Tattersalls' Rule 4(c) will apply to bets on the remaining greyhounds.

Where a greyhound is withdrawn after the draw for the final is made, all bets struck after the draw but prior to withdrawal of our prices will be settled at starting price, and bets on the withdrawn greyhound will be void.

f) Greyhound Webcasting

Where we offer a Greyhound Webcast service this service is provided for information and entertainment purposes only, and we cannot be responsible for the accuracy of any of the information relayed.

g) Greyhound withdrawn

Where a greyhound is withdrawn from a race all bets struck prior to the withdrawal will be settled at starting price.

h) No race

In the event of a no race being re-run, all bets for that race will stand at starting price unless previously cancelled by the customer.

Where a rule is not specifically covered in these Greyhound rules, the rules stated in the Horse Racing section will apply where appropriate.

4) Golf

a) Outright betting

The winner will be the player receiving the trophy on the final day of the tournament. The result of any playoff will count.

Bets on any player who fails to tee off in the first round will be void. Bets on any player who subsequently withdraws or is disqualified will be losers.

In the event that a tournament is reduced from the scheduled number of holes, we will use, for settlement purposes the official result as given by the sanctioning Tour. The only exception to this is that we reserve the right to make all outright bets void on a tournament that is played on different golf courses.

Bets placed after the completion of the final completed round will be void.

b) 2/3 ball betting (strokeplay events)

The player with the lowest recorded score is the winner.

We will normally offer a price for the tie in 2 ball betting, but not in 3 ball betting. Where players shoot the same score, and we have not offered a price for the tie, then dead heat rules apply.

Should any of the named players in a two or three ball fail to complete the 18 holes in that round, then all bets on that two or three ball will be void.

c) 72-hole Match/Threesome Betting

The winner will be the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament (playoffs included). If one player misses the cut, the other is deemed the winner. Where both players miss the cut the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine settlement.

If one player is disqualified, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both players have made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. If a player is disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, when his opponent has already missed the cut, the disqualified player is deemed the winner.

A price will be offered for the tie and in the event of a tie bets on either player to win will be lost.

Where a match bet involves three players (threesome) the conditions listed above will apply, except in the event of a tie where dead heat rules will apply. Non-runner - threesome void.

d) Group betting

Where we offer betting on groups of players (e.g. Top European player) a deduction equivalent to Tattersalls' Rule 4(c) may be applicable if one of the players becomes a non runner.

5) Formula One

a) Race betting

The result at the time of podium presentations counts.

All drivers in place to start the warm up lap are deemed as runners.

b) Championship betting

Bets stand on all drivers and constructors whether they compete or not. Bets will be settled in accordance with the Official result given by the governing authority.

c) Race head to heads (match bets)

The winner of a race head to head will be the driver with the higher finishing position, or the driver who completes most laps. In the event that the two drivers retire on the same lap, bets are void. .

If either driver fails to appear on the grid for the start of the parade lap then all bets on that head to head are void. .

d) Fastest Qualifier

The driver achieving the fastest official qualifying time (as recorded by the FIA) in any named qualifying session is the winner. Any subsequent demotions do not count for settlement purposes.

e) Qualifying match bets

The driver achieving the faster official qualifying time is the winner.

If either driver fails to start a lap in the official race qualifying session, then all bets on that match are void.

f) To be classified

The official FIA classifications will be used when settling this market.

Drivers who complete 90% of the number of laps completed by the winner of the race will be classified by the FIA, and will be settled as winners in 'To Be Classified' betting.

g) Number of race leaders

The driver who is in the forward most car (normally Pole Position) on the grid at the start of the race counts as a race leader.

Eurovision song contest rules
The following details settlement in the event of two or more countries dead-heating. Please note this forms part of our terms and conditions and is in addition to our standard rules of betting.

Outright and match bets

In the event that two or more countries get the same number of points; the number of individual countries that have voted for each of the countries dead-heating will be the first deciding factor.

If the result remains level then the country awarded the highest number of maximum points will win, if the result still remains level then the country awarded the highest number of the second highest award of points will win and so on.

If two or more countries have scored a completely identical number of points (identical number of maximum points, identical second highest award of points, identical third highest award of points, etc.), the number of points awarded amongst the countries involved in the dead-heat are counted.

If all countries involved have awarded each other identical amounts of points, a dead-heat will be declared and dead-heat rules will apply.

1) Palpable errors

When an incorrect price is taken due to a palpable error i.e. a technical problem or price entry error, then the bet will be settled at the correct price available at the time the bet was struck, as verified by SIS for live racing, or Coral prices for other early price races and other vents.

If there is no correct SIS or Coral market available at the time the bet is struck, the selection will be deemed void and stakes returned.

2) Potential Returns back to top

The results produced by our bet calculator are only designed to be a guide to potential returns. Coral cannot guarantee results to be 100% accurate. Certain invalid inputs may result in unrealistic returns, so please be careful when entering your data.

3) Late bets back to top

Bets placed inadvertently or otherwise after the start of an event (excepting cases where we are specifically offering 'in running' betting) will be made void.

All times displayed on the website are for information purposes only, and we adhere to official start times (or 'off' times) of events and races.

While we try to always remove the opportunity to bet on an event once it has started, should an event remain 'open' on the website this is not in itself an indication that we are willing to take bets on the event. We reserve the right to refer back to start or 'off' times and cancel late bets.

4) Related contingencies back to top

It is not permissible to bet on multiple selections where the respective outcomes are related, in a multiple bet.

Related in this sense means that should one event happen, then another event happening becomes more likely.

Should a related bet inadvertently be accepted then wherever possible we will give the customer the choice to have the whole stake equally divided between the individual selections as single bets, or to have the bet cancelled. Where we are unable to contact the customer, or we discover the error after an event has started, then the whole stake will be equally divided among the selections as single bets. The exception to this is where the selections are not available to be bet as singles. In this case the whole bet will be made void.

5) Cancel/alter a bet back to top

Once a bet has been placed, it cannot be altered or cancelled by the customer.

6) Refusal of bets back to top

We reserve the right to refuse any bet that is submitted to us, without giving a reason.

On occasions where we are willing to accept a part of a bet, or accept a bet but at different odds or terms, we will always propose a revised bet to the customer who can then accept or decline the revised bet. There will always be a limited time within which the customer must decide to accept or decline a revised bet. If the customer does not respond in time the bet will not be placed. This time limit is subject to fluctuation depending on different factors, but will normally be less than thirty seconds.

7) Price changes back to top

All of our prices are subject to fluctuation at any time.

We will accept bets only at the price that is applicable to the selection at the time that the bet is submitted.

To view the current odds for any event the customer should 'refresh' the page on which the odds are displayed. A refresh icon is provided for this purpose on pages displaying horse and greyhound races, where the prices of individuals runners are most liable to change.

8) Non runners back to top

In the event that a selection for an event does not participate, or if an event is cancelled, then bets on these will be considered non runners.

Excepting bets placed under ante-post conditions, a single bet on a non runner will be made void and the whole stake refunded. Where a non runner is part of a multiple bet the whole bet will not be made void, but only the parts of the bet relating to that selection. For example, a treble involving a non runner becomes a double - to the same stake - on the remaining two selections.

9) Price or event rigging back to top

Where there is evidence of price rigging in horse racing or greyhound racing, we reserve the right to settle bets at Starting Price, or to make bets void.

Where there is evidence of corruption in any event we reserve the right to make bets on that event void.

10) Special bets back to top

From time to time we will offer special betting opportunities, the rules for which are not covered specifically in these Terms and Conditions. In the case of these bets, we will display the additional terms in the text description that relates to the opportunity on the website, and bets will be settled accordingly.

11) Maximum payouts back to top

There is no limit on the amount that will be paid in respect of a Single bet on a single selection.

Otherwise, the maximum payout (inclusive of stake) on any one bet is £100,000, subject to exceptions as described below.

Payout Limits (inclusive of stake)

1. No Limit On a Single Bet for a single selection.

2. £100,000 On any Multiple, Combination or Accumulative bet.

3. £50,000 On any bet containing a selection in a non UK Horse Race.

4. £100,000 On any bet where all selections are racing in BAGS or BEGS races.

5. £25,000 On any bet with a greyhound selection in a non BAGS or BEGS race at: Romford, Hove, Walthamstow, Catford, Crayford or Wimbledon greyhound tracks.

6. £2,500 On any non BAGS or BEGS race not at one of the tracks mentioned in clause 5 above.

7. £10,000 On any race at a greyhound track not mentioned in clause 5 above but which is televised live on Sky Sports.

10. £10,000 On any other non sporting event.

11. £500,000 On any Fantasy 4-4-2 bet.

These maximums equally apply where more than one bet is placed by the same customer on the same selection(s).

12) Minimum stakes back to top

The usual minimum stake for any single stake bet is £1.

The usual minimum unit stake for any combination bet is 10p.

These minimum stakes may change for different betting opportunities.

There is no maximum stake for a bet. All bets are subject to the maximum payout relating to that betting opportunity.

It is the customer's responsibility to check the potential return on any bet does not exceed the maximum payout relating to that bet. For assistance, where it is possible to calculate, we display the potential return on the Bet Request page of the website. We also offer a Potential Return calculator feature on the Betting Slip page. Please note that where a bet contains a selection at Starting Price, a potential return cannot be calculated.

13) Dead heat back to top

In the event of a dead heat for first place in a race or event, the win stake of any bet on one of the selections involved in the dead heat is divided by the number of dead heaters and multiplied by the full win odds to calculate the return. Therefore, for example, a £10 bet at 6/1 on a horse that dead heats with one other horse for first place, is paid at the rate of £5 at 6/1, giving a total return of £35. The remainder of the stake money is lost.

In the case of an each way bet, where a dead heat causes there to be more selections placed than the number of places on which we are paying, the number of selections dead heating is divided by the number of places available. The place stake of the bet is divided by this number and then multiplied by the full place odds to calculate the returns.

14) Tattersall's rule 4(c) back to top

Where a horse is withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders, after a course market has been formed, bets are settled in accordance with Tattersalls' rules. Tattersalls' Rule 4 Deduction Scale deduction makes an adjustment to prices to reflect the absence from the 'book' of any non runner. The following deductions are made and relate to the price of the withdrawn horse at the time the bet was struck.

a) 1/9 or shorter 90p
b) 2/11 to 2/17 85p
c) 1/4 to 1/5 80p
d) 3/10 to 2/7 75p
e) 2/5 to 1/3 70p
f) 8/15 to 4/9 65p
g) 8/13 to 4/7 60p
h) 4/5 to 4/6 55p
i) 20/21 to 5/6 50p
j) Evens to 6/5 45p
k) 5/4 to 6/4 40p
l) 13/8 to 7/4 35p
m) 15/8 to 9/4 30p
n) 5/2 to 3/1 25p
o) 10/3 to 4/1 20p
p) 9/2 to 11/2 15p
q) 6/1 to 9/1 10p
r) 10/1 to 14/1 5p
s) over 14/1 no deduction

In the event of two or more horses being withdrawn before coming under starter's orders, the total deduction will be the sum of the individual deductions, up to a maximum of 90p in the £.

15) Place terms for each-way betting back to top

On many events we accept bets 'each-way'. In an each way bet, half of the stake goes on the selection to win, and half on the selection to be placed. The place part of the bet will be paid at a fraction of the win price. The terms at which each way bets are accepted will differ for different events, and will always be displayed on the website at the top of the betting opportunity.

For horse and greyhound racing the each way terms we offer are as follows: .

In races of 5-7 runners we pay ¼ of the win odds for 1st and 2nd places.

In races of 8 or more runners we pay 1/5 of the win odds for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

In Handicap races of 12-15 runners we pay ¼ of the win odds for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

In Handicap races of 16 or more runners we pay ¼ of the win odds for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.

Where there are less than 5 runners, the whole stake goes on the horse to win.

All each way multiple bets are settled win-to-win, place-to-place. Equally divided each way betting is not available.

Unless offered for a special event, we do not offer 'place only' betting.

16) Postponed races back to top

Where a race is postponed and run later the same day, all bets placed prior to the announced postponement stand for the re-arranged time, unless previously cancelled by the customer.

In the event that a starting price is not returned for any horse race, bets will be settled at a Coral.co.uk starting price that will be decided upon having considered other forms of official returns on that race. 20) Foreign racing back to top

Where we offer betting on Horse Racing from outside Great Britain or Ireland the rules covering ante post and early price betting are the same as for UK racing. Where the race has an official return of a Pari Mutuel dividend then board price betting will not be available, and bets at starting price will use the Pari Mutuel dividends.

Where there is a UK industry starting price and board price service provided by UK bookmakers we will normally offer customers the choice of (a) Coral early price, industry board price and industry starting price; or (b) Pari Mutuel returns. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that he has selected his preferred choice when placing his bet.

Tournaments

1. A "Tournament" is a contest in which all players start with an equal amount of chips and continue to play until one player remains and accumulates all the chips. (Blinds/antes are raised consistently throughout the tournament.)

2. All Single Table Tournaments are freeze-outs (no re-buys).

3. One-table Tournaments will begin within seconds after all Players are seated.

4. Multiple-table Tournaments will have set starting times (and players must Register prior to a nominated cut off point to play).

5. The Player who draws the high-card will start with the button in Hold'em and Omaha games prior to the start of the Tournament. In case two Players get the same high-card, the suit preference of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs will determine who starts with the button.

6. Tournaments will continue until one Player wins all the chips.

7. When a Player loses all his/her chips, they are eliminated from play.

8. In "Limit Tournaments" one bet and three raises are permitted. When only two Players remain, there is no limit on raises.

9. Players are obligated to take their "Blinds". (A "blind" is a fixed amount of money, determined by the size of the game, that is put into the pot in Hold'em and Omaha games prior to the dealing of the hand. The purpose of the blinds are to initiate action.)

10. It will be possible for a hand to have only one blind - the "Big Blind", with no "Small Blind". The Small Blind is the lesser of the two blinds. The Small Blind is placed into the pot by the player immediately to the left of the dealer button.

11. Players may inherit the button for more than one hand (the "Dead Button"). This is necessary to ensure all Players take their Blinds.

12. If two or more Players are eliminated on the same hand, the Player(s) who started the hand with the most money will get the higher finishing position. If they begin the hand with the same amount of money, they will equally divide any prize money due them.

13. When two Players remain, the Player due to assume the Big Blind will do so, and the Small Blind will inherit the button. The Small Blind or button will act first prior to the flop and second after the flop.

14. There are no breaks during Single-table Tournaments. In Multiple-table tournaments, a 5 minute break is taken every hour.

15. Tournaments continue until there is a winner. If a Player needs to be away from the table, he or she should click on the "Autopost and Fold" button located on the left side of the screen as a courtesy to the other Players.

16. The prize payoffs will be exactly according to the Payout Schedule (the "Payoff Structure") and there are NO deals.

17. Poker etiquette ("Etiquette") is expected from all Players. Those abusing proper etiquette may be asked by CoralPoker.com Personnel to leave the Tournament and/or to stop playing at CoralPoker.com

18. There should be no soft-playing during Tournaments. Soft playing is to not bet your hand to the fullest extent when playing against someone (usually friends and/or family). It goes against the spirit of the game and is considered cheating in some instances.

19. Players who do not act on their hand in time ("Time Out") will be Folded.

20. Our standard Disconnection and All-in Policy applies to all Tournaments.

21. CoralPoker.com reserves the right to alter the rules and render final decisions on all matters herein at its sole discretion. Rule changes and relevant decisions will be communicated accordingly via CoralPoker.com via electronic and/or written means.

22. CoralPoker.com reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Tournaments at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

23. If a Tournament is cancelled due to technical issues, any Player who was eliminated prior to this time will lose their buy-in and entry fee. The remaining Players will be refunded their Buy-ins and Entry fees and will equally divide up the Buy-in monies from the Players already eliminated, regardless of the chip standing when the tournament was halted.

24. The rules and policies contained herein represent the complete understanding between Player and CoralPoker.com with respect to Player's activities at any CoralPoker.com tournament, except as otherwise specified in the any rules pertaining to a particular tournament, as posted at the CoralPoker.com website.

25. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, all use of the website by Player is governed by the CoralPoker.com Terms & Conditions of Use. And in the event of dispute those terms and conditions shall apply.

Disconnection And All-In Policy

Except as otherwise expressly stated in writing by CoralPoker.com, the following terms and conditions set forth the rules and procedures that govern all Player's rights in the event of disconnection and ability to use All-ins:

1. If for any reason a Player loses his/her connection, play will continue. Blinds and antes will continue to be posted automatically. A Player should log back on as soon as possible to continue play.

2. Players will be blinded/anteed out of the tournament if they do not reconnect.

3. Players MUST accept the risk of disconnection. They can and do occur. (Log back on and continue play as quickly as possible.) To limit the potential of disconnection, please consult with your ISP as to what measures can be initiated to help reduce this risk. At no time will CoralPoker.com assume responsibility for disconnected players regardless of cause.

4. If a Player is disconnected during the play of a hand, they will be deemed "All-in" (and can win whatever is in the pot at the time of the disconnect).

5. If a Player is disconnected while playing and uses their All-ins, The Player should reset their All-ins upon their return (or the Player will be automatically Folded the next time, rather than deemed to be All-in).

6. Players are allowed two (2) All-ins per Tournament due to a disconnection problem.

7. A Player may request for an All-in reset by using either of the following two methods: a) Go to Lobby --> Click on 'Options' --> Click on 'Request All-ins Reset'; OR b) While at the table, click on the 'Dealer's Chip Tray' to get the options. One of the options is 'All-in reset'. Just click it to send an All-in reset request to us.

8. On the successful resetting of a Player's All-in count, the Player will receive a confirmation.

9. CoralPoker.com reserves the right to alter this policy and render final decisions on all matters herein at its sole discretion. Policy changes and relevant decisions will be communicated accordingly via CoralPoker.com via electronic and/or written means.

10. Our software is designed to detect whether a Player had a genuine disconnection before giving the All-in protection to him. If a Player tries to get All-in protection by simply not acting on his/her turn and getting "timed out", he/she is deemed 'Folded'.

11. All-in resets are allowed twice in any 24 hours period. This means that before CoralPoker.com successfully processes a Player's All-in reset request, we will determine whether the Player has reset their All-ins more than once in the past 24 hours. If the Player has, CoralPoker.com will not reset the All-ins automatically. (Please contact us.)

12. There is a limit of 10 All-in resets within a 7 days period.

13. CoralPoker.com strives to offer the best All-in protection to our Players. Our goal is to protect Players who are accidentally disconnected, while also maintaining appropriate checks so that the protection might not be misused.

14. CoralPoker.com reserves the right to render final decisions on all matters herein at its sole discretion. Decisions will be communicated accordingly via CoralPoker.com via electronic and/or written means.
