THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Gala Coral Group is Europe’s largest integrated betting and gaming company, employing around 17,500 employees. As well as over 1,700 betting offices, bingo clubs and casinos, we have a significant online presence in the UK and throughout Europe.

Due to substantial growth in our online offer, the E-Commerce Division currently has an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager

This role will be to support the implementation Senior Project Manager with administrative tasks and meeting arrangements. Candidates will have a good experience of updating project plans, project risk register and issues log, managing arrangements, papers and documentation to ensure compliance with project governance, project boards and project documentation, diary management and liaison with third parties to ensure attendance at meetings and events. It is essential that this person have the ability to use project management tools such as Prince 2, MS Project.

The successful candidate must have relevant experience of project ownership within an IT environment.

Most importantly you will be a positive influence capable of rising to a challenge.
Candidates should display good communication skills by managing internal relationships, be highly organised and have a “can do” attitude.

THE CANDIDATE:

Qualified to minimum A-level standard or equivalent the role requires strong organisation, problem-solving and people management skills and you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and numerical skills. The ability to collaborate with colleagues and work well within a team is essential.
