SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Gala Coral Group is Europe’s largest integrated betting and gaming company, employing around 17,000 employees.  As well as over 1,500 betting offices, bingo clubs and casinos, we have a significant online presence in the UK and throughout Europe.

Due to substantial growth in our online offer, the E-Commerce Division currently has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Administrator in our E-Commerce division. You will be part of a team responsible for supporting the Gala, Coral and Eurobet websites and office staff located in Woking and Offshore.

You will have significant experience in Linux systems administration, server hardware, server builds, Apache2, PHP, website support skills, including shell scripting and maintenance in mission critical environments.

Possessing a strong support background, you will be able to troubleshoot competently unaided and as part of a team.

Detailed HP Proliant server knowledge, Oracle and Internet based skills are preferred.

You will provide a first point of reference in the support of the business’s IT systems by both internal and external customers.

The department is covered 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The position is full-time and as it involves working shift-based hours, including weekends and bank holidays the position would be better suited to candidates who live within a short commuting distance of the office.
